1. The service
PortSMS rents dedicated phone numbers for receiving SMS for a chosen length (1, 7 or 30 days) and shows the messages on the website, through the API and by webhook. Numbers are for receiving SMS only; calls and sending are not included.
2. Account and token
Your account is a single token shown once when you sign up. We store only its hash, so we cannot show it again or recover it. Keep the token and any API key private.
3. Balance and payment
You top up a balance in USDT (TRC-20) and rentals and extensions are paid from it. Send the exact amount shown to the address shown; a payment may be held briefly for checking before it is credited.
4. Rentals
A rented number is yours for the paid length and can be extended before it ends. When it ends, the number goes back to the supplier and may later be rented by someone else. Messages of an ended number stay readable for 7 days.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use numbers for anything illegal, for fraud, or to harm or harass others. Accounts used this way can be suspended. Some services refuse rented or virtual numbers; we cannot change that.
6. Liability
Delivery of SMS depends on the sender and the networks. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the rental concerned, to the extent the law allows.
